There is a interesting HP analysis (slight bashing) of which the best part is the ensuing discussion! I grinned so hard so often - reading lit cracks debating with lit cracks is marvelous and enchanting. (Link courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] odogoddess.)

Coming later: Work. Washing. Hairdresser. Not necessarily in that order.

Possibly I'm the last person in the world to see the Simpsons Harry Potter spoof -- but if not, just go to this youtube link :)

Spock/Snape fiction?

[livejournal.com profile] illariy is looking for Spock/Snape fiction. I read a good, longer one once where Spock lands in Hogwarts and Snape has to take care of him for a while.

But lo and behold, I neither find it on my computer nor do I remember where it was located. Pointers welcome!

Oh, and there is a Spock/Snape songvid at youtube - not the best vid ever, but inventive :)

Oh dang.

It's as if with "Deathly Hallows", a dam has broken. Now that HP canon is closed, my brain is all but JUMPING at the fanfic.

Just finished reading Hero Worship, and it's a brilliant, long story by [livejournal.com profile] ravenna_c_tan with domHarry/subSnape. Not just kinky crackfic (like the one of last night), but extremely well-written with a slow, believable development. Loved it. Highly recommended.

The writer has a fic masterlist here, which I definitely have to check out for more goodies...

HP rec for the not-so-faint-of-heart.

"Just" read another (very long) story from the writer with the many warnings ;) Blind Beauty by Slashpervert, Harry/Draco (some Werewolf!Draco, even) and three lines of warning. I think someone cast a magic wormhole, because I can't remember ever having read a story with that much fucking inside.

And since it's torture day ;), a zine rec - "Day of Vengeance", a K/S zine with not so much K/S, but rather non-con Khan/Spock and lots of nasty ideas inside. And two great illos by Southern Cross, I think.

Also just got a mail from T'Guess that she's online with the new url http://www.den-iniquity.com and also hosts her vids there now. Please update your bookmarks :)

And the Foresmutter project is gone?! Anyone knowing anything regarding the why? EDIT: Only temporarily offline! Good thing.

Actually...

...we're almost on our way to our annual bdsm vacation in Denmark.

However, just had a bath and "The Philosopher's Stone" with me, and look! there's a Nicholas Flamel mentioned as Dumbledore's partner (for an alchemy book). Okay, my brain is in the slashy dumps by now, but even the wikipedia says that Flamel worked with Albus Dumbledore as his partner in alchemy; though, considering the stone had already been invented, it is not clear what the pair worked on together.

Oh, JKR, Dumbledore is so much sounding like a closet homosexual by now, it can't possibly be by chance...can it? In the "middle-class, heteronormative world" she created, he sure is outstanding.

Anyway, off to other pervert things ;) Read you in a week :)

Order of the Phoenix

So we finally saw Ootp in the cinema, and liked it a lot :) In fact, I think it's the best one so far (I've got to admit that I obviously disliked the last one so much that I forgot I'd ever seen it ;) OotP thoughts, spoilerish )

And for the fun...

I'm involved in a HP discussion...and I'm barely involved in that fandom. Really shouldn't do that.

And I didn't do anything for customer#1 yet, because the weight of customer#2's project was so heavy, I just started breathing today again.

Tonight: Cinema at 2230 :) (HP *G*)

Worked until 04.00 tonight, when I could deliver the to-be-used-in-beta version of the help. Also mailed customer#2 already two small corrections he wanted from me this morning. W0000T!

But why did I ever think that starting a writing hobby would be a nice counteract to my writing work...? That's not really true *aches after various edits of 220 print pages*

Now doing office work. Like, saving my banking accounts through phone calls and stuff. And later I've got to do something for poor customer#1.

We'll be on vacation next week. I think I'll take the first three HP books with me - I feel like re-reading the series, now that I know the full circle :) And besides, maybe my US print version of DH will magically appear when I'm through with the others *G*

EDIT: We're going to see the new HP movie tonight. YAY! Life is getting better by the minute :)

Note to self: Need more DH icons.
