Summary: At the academy, you get to know interesting people.

Wesley liked older men. Maybe not that old, usually, but the Admiral compensated by being a former crewmember of the legendary Enterprise. When the class went for a drink after the lecture, Wesley slipped onto the seat next to him.

"Ah, Picard's acting ensign," Chekov said amused, causing the boy to blush. "I started as an ensign under Kirk too." He twinkled. "I liked my captain a lot. How about you?"

Wesley thought of very personal meetings in Picard's office and glowed.

"Maybe we can talk more about this later…somewhere else," Chekov said and put his hand on Wesley's knee.
