Kirk's part is always very... predictable:

"Spock is enslaved by superior beings on a mysterious planet .
Meanwhile, Captain Kirk becomes romantically involved with an alien woman."

"Nurse Chapel becomes sick from an alien virus on Ceti Alpha 6 .
In the meantime, Captain Kirk is attracted to a female android."

"Chekov is injured in a shuttlecraft accident in a mirror universe .
As this happens, Captain Kirk is seduced by a mysterious woman."
