syredronningPreamble: I hate fashion. I hate shoes, belts, scarves, makeup and fancy bags. The only well-dressed person with taste in this household is my husband (cue to his vast collection of shoes from various angles).
Nevertheless, the City! Series - a fashion AU sucked me in like mad. Kirk as fashion zine editor, Bones as his top photographer, Spock and Uhura as fashion team, Chekov as model... and Joanna as a cute girl living with McCoy and teaming up with Jim all the time. So lovely and funny and yum. Even if the idea of a fashion AU makes you want to run - give it a try. It's worth it!
And then I'd like to rec The Size of his Dream (McCoy, Pike) - a missing scene with the talk between Pike and McCoy that ends with McCoy signing up for Starfleet. Lovely character studies that might make it into my personal Reboot canon.
