REQUEST: Academy Era...
Takes place during 1st or 2nd year of the Academy.
Starfleet Medical is operating a secret division that is currently running inhumane medical experiments on some captured (live) Romulans in an effort to discover their weaknesses, etc. McCoy's surgical skills catch their attention and they try to bring him into the fold. He's not willing to slice and dice living subjects even if it's supposedly for 'the greater good'. They can't exactly let him just walk out now that he's become privy to information on such ethically dubious practices. They take him into custody (and plan to, what? kill him? do a procedure to make him forget what he's learned? idk?) and figure no one will ask too many questions about a random cadet with few familial and social ties.
They failed to take into account one little detail: Jim Kirk. Cadet Kirk might've believed that Bones would up and leave him with no goodbye, but he called the ex wife, who confirms Joanna hasn't gotten her last weekly call, and he knows there's no way Bones would willingly skip out on that. The higher ups aren't taking his inquiries seriously, but there's no way he's gonna let this go. Uhura and the Vulcan Jim's pretty sure she's banging are doubtful of his conspiracy theories at first, but eventually he's got them, along with that genius Russian kid and that guy with the awesome sword collection helping him out....

Awesome Jim being Awesome!
So, I just have this image of the hungover, beat-up Jim all the shuttle from Riverside having to step up and be his BAMF self and all the other cadets being like, 'Who ARE you?'
I figure maybe an off world or human xenophobic group takes the cadets hostage (easier to take on incoming cadets on a transport rather than attack the academy or a 'Fleet vessel), and they either end up as prisoners or, after getting away, stranded in the wilderness. Pike is injured, incapacitated or maybe not around at all (headed back to SF early for some reason, IDK) so somebody needs to take on a leadership role. When Kirk tries to, Uhura and Cupcake are like, you think we're gonna take orders from a dumb hick townie, but damned if he actually knows what he's doing.
Using survival skills he learned on Tarsus, his tactical genius, just general resourcefulness, etc., Jim saves the day, much to the other cadets and Starfleet's dismay.
Should be gen, though if you wanted to make it pre-slash Jim/Bones, I'm cool with that. ;-)

McCoy/Kirk: Flirting in times of crisis
McCoy and Kirk aggressively flirt every time they're in a highly dangerous situations; the kind of obvious, over-the-top, somewhat lecherous but also really schmoopy flirting that make people gag with the fluff. At one point or the end, it's revealed that it's one of the ways they cope with the stress of not being able to see each other during the moments that could potentially end up with one of them dead.
Mainly I want to see McCoy's killer Southern charm and Kirk being coy in response.Do you see how much I like my bottom!Kirk

Kirk/McCoy/Spock, H/c, Hurt!Kirk, Comforting Threesome
I've seen a lot of fics where McCoy feels like he is the odd man out in the 3some, but I'd like to see one where *Kirk* feels that way.
After the events of ST:ID, Kirk wakes up to find the dynamics of his relationship completely changed. Spock and McCoy have grown closer - no more hurtful nicknames between the two, *willingly* spending time with each other, etc. - and Kirk no longer has to play Judge Judy for them. It's weird for Kirk and makes him feel like he's no longer needed.
Maybe he feels like they played him, that they never needed him in the first place and were only using him as a means to an end. Or maybe he just wants out before he becomes the metaphorical third-wheel. Whatever the reason, I'd like to see Spock and McCoy wake up one morning to find that Kirk is gone and frantically search for Kirk to correct his misunderstanding.

So after ST:ID, Bones and Jim suggest that they and the crew (and if you choose, family: Joanna McCoy, Sam and Winona Kirk, Pike if you want him alive after ST:ID) go somewhere to relax and take care of themselves. It is unknown to the crew that the place (Mansion/Estate/Resort) they are staying at for their downtime, until the Enterprise is repaired; actually belongs to their Captain and Doctor.
Wants:
.: Domestic!McKirk (Bones and Jim are secretly married/engaged, they have been since their Second year at the Academy.)
.: Bookworm!Kirk (He wears glasses instead of contacts and owns a huge library in their home.)
.: Chef!McCoy (In his domestic time, Bones prepares every single meal for Jim because of Jim's allergies, he likes cooking, and so Jim will actually eat something healthy.)
.: Also to go with the above /\ I would love to see McCoy feeding Kirk randomly throughout the day without Jim realizing it, so as to help him get his weight back up after being in the hospital.

Kirk/Khan - Time Travel Fix It
What if, when Kirk died he didn't wake up revived because of Khan's blood. No. Instead Kirk woke up and found himself in a familiar place before the events of Khan, before Pike's death, before the captains meeting. Everything. He remembers everything that happens, and in his mind knows that this is his chance to change things.
Now here's the thing. Every time Kirk changes something for the better of the future, i.e. Saves Pike. Something else happens that he didn't expect. Like someone else dying or a building exploding. Basically all of his choices have a huge consequence.
So Kirk has the choice of either keeping some things the same or risking a gamble on not knowing what his choices could do.
So I don't expect this to be easy for Kirk. I expect this to be hard for him, because he could either make everything worse or better. Especially if the more he changes prevents him from actually /knowing/ what would happen. So run with that all you want.
And somehow make this Kirk/Khan because I loves that pairing~ :3
Also would love it if Kirk asks both Spocks for help and advice without really revealing what he's doing cause that could change things, but up to you if he does reveal his knowledge or not.
Also I would not mind at one point Kirk actually dying again, but this time saving Khan's life somehow and Khan saving his life in return with his blood!
Thats it. I hope you get what I mean. This idea has been rolling in my head for a while and I hope to see someone take up a challenge!
Addendum:
- Marcus is a EVIL MAN and harder to predict cause i'm sure that guy has back up plans if some fail especially when using Khan as part of these plans.
- Kirk understanding Khan's reasoning since he did die to save his own crew.

Pike survives ID and still ends up with the Enterprise and Jim as his XO. How does Jim handle being a First Officer? It's a different set of responsibilities (disciplining the crew where necessary, keeping the captain from getting himself killed, etc), and it's a big change from Jim being in charge himself.
Bonus +1: Some of the crew end up gossiping about how different Jim is as the XO (complaining that he's such a hardass, maybe?).
Bonus +10: Pike examining Jim's behavior (much more adherence to regs, always professional, little to no joking around, etc) and not being sure he entirely likes it (misses some of that carefree spirit that Jim always exuded).

He's single but doesn't sleep around anyway (and Uhura wouldn't want somebody between her legs who already shagged half of whole Starfleet). He's a sensualist and is good with his hands. He's always respectful and gentlemanly to the ladies. He is used to be bound to professional discretion and never gossips; Surely, their delicate problem would be safe with him. Even Spock admits, the doctor is a logical choice.
So Spock & Uhura invite Bones to dinner and put the proposal forward. Bones is game.

Pike/Kirk, recovery
I posted something like this in the first round, but it wasn't filled, so I hope eerily similar posts are okay?
Pike somehow survives the fight, but suffers some debilitating spine damage, and even with starfleet's finest doctors, it doesn't look like he will fully recover the use of his body from the neck down.
I want a sappy, sad but happy recovery story where Pike learns to cope with wheelchairs and buttons, and Kirk tries to make the best of a less than great situation. (Think Intouchables if you need a visual.)

Maybe Scotty is just not Uhura's type and Sulu recently got a new girlfriend, etc. They come to the surprising conclusion, that Dr. McCoy would be the most suitable man for the job: He may be grumpy, but he's also very reliable and trustworthy. He's single but doesn't sleep around anyway (and Uhura wouldn't want somebody between her legs who already shagged half of whole Starfleet). He's a sensualist and is good with his hands. He's always respectful and gentlemanly to the ladies. He is used to be bound to professional discretion and never gossips; Surely, their delicate problem would be safe with him. Even Spock admits, the doctor is a logical choice.
So Spock & Uhura invite Bones to dinner and put the proposal forward. Bones is game.

Pike/Kirk, recovery
I posted something like this in the first round, but it wasn't filled, so I hope eerily similar posts are okay?
Pike somehow survives the fight, but suffers some debilitating spine damage, and even with starfleet's finest doctors, it doesn't look like he will fully recover the use of his body from the neck down.
I want a sappy, sad but happy recovery story where Pike learns to cope with wheelchairs and buttons, and Kirk tries to make the best of a less than great situation. (Think Intouchables if you need a visual.)
Cheers for established Kirk/Pike and fluffy angst, and if you want to let Pike recover enough for awkward/less than successful recovery sex, works for me.
Bonus if Kirk has his own medical or emotional issues that he has to work through, but is ignoring for Pike until Pike flips it and starts taking care of Kirk emotionally.
