Ah well...

I finally accepted - after installing most of my programs and data - that I can't work with the new laptop because the screen is just too low in height for me and my way of working (2 cm less than the old one).

So my beloved wuffelchen tested it and will use it in the future as permanent loan. And I will invest privately money in another new laptop, this time reading the small print better! (Though I will wait until the job thingy is settled, which has to happen during the next two weeks.)

Other than that, already had quite an active day because the drain of the washing machine was blocked (hubby's job) and there was some snow outside to be shovelled away (my job).

Sigh sigh sigh.

Back to the laptop theme. Decided to keep it for now (because, hell, buying a second one privately really is costly) and instead try to hook it to an external 14" tft screen. Which I happen to have in the office, connected to the old computer I only use for banking business.

Man, I was so stupid when I ordered the new one. I'm really angry about myself.
