Survived extended family meeting (it was great) and closest family gathering (I survived). Made my father very happy by finally connecting the DSL connection he pays for since last year (thanks, hubby, provider hotline and brainself). Read an article about equivolume stock chart on the train and drew a few eyes (don't ask).

Found all my ordered books when coming home, and also caved in at Hannover train station and bought the British "Deathly Hallows" edition (a moment of European pride or something, I still think the Scholastic edition is much more beautiful in design).

For dinner my husband and I tried a new, nearby restaurant which is beautifully located at the edge of a lake. However, the service and the food took forever and the food was rather lousy. I doubt we'll be customers there again, except for a beer or something.
