Fixed the sex scene (deleted 2800 not-working words and added 1000 hotter ones) and then shipped Draws#16 - the last part of the Draws series \o/ - off to the beta.
So to everyone out there who didn't feel like reading an unfinished series, this would be a good moment to start catching up with the 317K words that are available already: http://archiveofourown.org/series/4583 :)
And what I learned in the last five weeks - when I tackle story writing like a project, aka spending 2-3 hours on it almost every day, I can get done an enormous amount.
So this is what NaNoWriMo is really teaching people - to tackle their writing project in a limited, intense writing flow. (I never really got that - to me, most people seemed to want to prove to themselves that they could write more than 50K words, and that's something I've proven myself in my very first fanfiction year). But it's really about the method, not just the word count.
