Thank you to everyone who pointed out Brokeback to the Future to me - glorious!!!
I was seeing the gynecologist this morning...stepped through the door at 0800, left at 0821 and still felt well-handled. Everything's alright, and against my menstruation pain, he gave me the tip to eat an aspirin a day for the five days before it. My, why didn't anyone tell me this in the last 20 years??
I also had the wonderful experience that for the first time in some years, someone took my blood pressure and said "it's alright" ! It is still too high, but not as high as it was because I finally started acting against it.
Measures: drink only water; eat much more raw food than in the past; eat more bio products and use less add-ons in cooked food; avoid milk and yoghurt; use more olive oil; let hubby use cupping set to draw some blood once a week.
Results: absolutely no taste for coffee anymore (which I used to drink loads of); blood pressure went down, especially the diastolic value; almost no heartburn anymore; much better digestion (no more bouts of diarrhea for which no real food allergy could be found but which might be caused by some incompatibilities).
This is a big relief, and I want to proceed like this. If I lose weight as a side effect, that's great. But my focus is the blood pressure, because active dieting never lead anywhere (too much loaded with memories of childhood frustration and maternal manipulation).
