It was a good thing that I watched the Heroes episode without my husband nearby, because I was literally and loudly shouting and squeeing all through the showdown!!!

PETRELLICEST WINS!

"There is another way..."

"I can't let you die" - "And I can't let everyone else."

"I love you, Nathan."
"I love you too."

Oh, woah! And I'm absolutely sure both will survive this. Yes.

Simone's father, well, I had read theories about him. I'm really looking forward to learning more about the generations before and who did exactly what in the past.

That Sylar wasn't simply killed was to be expected. I guess we'll get a big showdown one day anyway, like in the future episode.

I really loved the beginning scene with Sylar painting for its great special effect - the drawing coming alive in the frame. Beautifully done.

Hiro and Ando...love it! Claire - great! Her father - getting better and more interesting all the time. Parkman, policeman extraordinaire. The mysterious man (worse than the Boogeyman) that Molly knows about. DL alive, Nikki finding her strength...great.

Loved it :) Squee!

ADDITION: Reading through flist and friends of friends, and some people are disappointed because it had been all so predictable...yes and no to me. Being a big fan of the Petrelli brothers, I just have to love the ending. They took a bunch of lose ties and wrapped them up, which is okay for a season finale for me. As for a comparison with other episodes - yes, there have been some that had more tension and character development, but overall I think this is a great show with a great cast and I love my weekly fix (how am I going to survive without it?!?!?!?).
