In my excessive link collecting, I find that sites at geocities et al.
are disappearing lately, probably due to inactivity by the owners.
Missing e.g. are:

Anastasia
Britta
Invicta
Islaofhope (ETA: mailed her)
Scarlet (ETA: mailed her)
ADDED: T'Aeneli (thanks, Farf) (ETA: mailed her)

I think this is not a nice development, so I want to offer a cozy
resting place for people's trek fanfiction websites at:

(alluring to the Lost Boys in Peter Pan, who never grew old)

If you are one of the mentioned authors, or if you have a website at a
freehoster that you don't update much anymore, but still want to offer
to your readers, please drop me a note.

I will need your HTML pages to set it up, and you would need my help
to make further changes, but it's free of pop-ups and ads. I'm in
control of the domain and make regular backups of the sources. I
simply do this as an offer to fellow Trek fanfic writers, and earn no
money with it :)

Please spread the news if you have contact to any of the mentioned
authors :) Let's claim some sites back from the digital abyss!

That's so wonderful of you to do! It's so sad to happily click on a link thinking you are going to get somewhere, only to find that the site is gone. It makes me leary of using Geocities myself, too. Guess I'd better update it sometime. Heh.
