Persiflage - Trekkies bash the new film (the onion)

Please NO spoilers in the comments, I try to stay to clear from them as much as possible!

Ack! I won't be seeing it for almost 48 hours...

I am all about the Karl Urban in this film. His Dr. McCoy is going to be made of awesome. When I read that Leonard Nimoy burst into tears on the set when he first saw Urban's performance, I knew this would be fantastic.

Enjoy! I can't wait to compare notes... :)

I bet you'll like it.

What a great info, I hadn't heard about that - but yes, Urban is great and the others also all rock. They did a fabulous casting!

This image of Chris Pine struck me as being a bit Shatneresque, too. And this one's just pretty. :-)

Around 3½ hours until I see the movie. I'm so glad I don't have work for the next 2 days. Yayyayyay. *g*

3 hours and 10 min to go. *squee* Isn't this exciting?! I went swimming on Monday and Tuesday and had very happy thoughts of what the film might or might not contain and then last night, I dreamed of Spock. (Sadly, I don't remember anything else about the dream. *pout*) I'd love to hear what you think about the new film once you've seen it. Will write up a reactions post myself, either tonight or tomorrow. *fannishectasy*

Eeeep! I'm still devided about the movie, but I will definitely see it!

Only, none of my friends wants to come along! D-:> Now the question is, am I pathetic enough to go to the cinema all alone? It's sad to be surrounded by such utter non-geeks all my life.

Go and invite someone. Really, this isn't just a movie for trekkies. It's a great action movie too :)

Believe me, I tried. It has to much of a geek stigma to it. Not even the guys from my D&D group will touch it with a ten-foot pole. *sigh*

Argh, and now you post spoilers! *must resist*
