Sep. 17th, 2004 02:11 pmJust when I was about to post that this day is PERFECT, I managed to throw a cup half full of cold coffee over the table *ARGS* Thankfully, the liquid poured over my closed old notebook and only barely touched my new one. But I had to haste to rescue the carpet, books, my cell phone...uff.
Back to the good things. I was at the dentist AND IT WAS GREAT. I came at 1100 and left at 1115. She was very relaxed, spoke to me about what she did, did only look up the tooth (which has a crown) that made problems and did not fiddle around in my mouth otherwise! She quickly diagnosed it as gingivitis and had it quickly x-rayed for security only. IT WAS SO RELAXED. And when I sat down in the waiting area until they had developed the x-ray pic, I saw she had material about AIDS there. WOOT.
Great. I made a really great choice with her. And I have to come in for another checkup on Tuesday, so I can get back to Frankfurt only on Wednesday *GRINS*
Anyway, then I went shopping and bought a big "Excel VBA Cookbook", then the Duden (THE dict of the German language) and a book about homosexuality. I also spent lots of money on socks (yes, that's possible!) and then met for lunch with my hubby who drove me home afterwards.
I also did some money/office stuff, marvelled at my full banking account and put a second charge of laundry into the washing machine.
TODO now:
- write, if I feel like :) polish the K/Mc, for example
- update linklists
- work on the ascem pattern buffer database Stephen sent me; compile the July and August SOS! (urgent, dammit :)
