How to improve a sucky mood: Watch Wild Boys by Duran Duran (Youtube) - a vid which is as kinky as you can get, with the additional bonus of the main singer being tied to a wheel that dips him (almost) under water with each rotation ;)

BTW, I always thought this is the perfect Kirk song (any Kirk; I never saw TOS Kirk as less of a thrill seeker than the young one).

I adore Duran Duran and that song, but don't remember seeing a video for it until now. And at first, with the spliced footage and that great set with the school desks in a grid, I thought the video was quite strikingly ahead of its time. Then the Duran Duran stuff kicked in around the two-minute mark, and I breathed easier. *g*

And yeah, a Kirk-driven fanvid for this would be pretty awesome.

Kirk-driven fanvids are usually fun because he's so much action and there's so much Kirk material *sigh* :) But I don't do vids anymore... unless I'd get bitten by the vidding muses but they always hated me a little.

I blame Duran Duran for my interest in kink/porn (though their interest is much more girl-focused than mine)... going all the way back to Girls on Film and The Chauffeur. Wild Boys of course, but there are hints of it in New Moon on Monday (especially the extended version which seems to habe been chopped up for this dance mix) and The Reflex.

Then there are the songs: Venice Drowning, All She Wants Is, Bedroom Toys, and especially Love Voodoo....
