Dentist was okay, but she asked me to come back two more times, which is a tad problematic as I still officially work in Frankfurt (no matter how much I try not to be there ;)
I bought a pair of Reebok sports shoes in black just to have a new pair - my old Nike are really bad for my knees and feet and I really have to throw them away *whines a bit* There goes more of my money. I feel like I could burn the notes and it wouldn't vanish quicker from my purse either.
However, I didn't give any money to a begging punk couple - at first I pondered it, but then I was like "you don't want to be a part of this society, so you don't need my hard-earned money either". I know so many people who try to find normal jobs and have terribly little money, so my compassion with people who actively decide against something resembling normal living is quite low, somehow. Hope that makes sense...
And then I'm moody again, because, gosh, I've got two free days and besides doing many things of my todo list, I didn't do anything for my business. Iiks. And maybe my hormones do a little PMS dance with me again *looks at calendar* Plus the weather is sh*t. And I can't even drink a hot tea yet, because of the dentist's treatment (must wait a bit longer).
Serious / important / urgent leftovers from Monday's todo list
- Draft letter to consulting companies in which I offer my techwriting services.
- Check mail with small but steady project offer, if I would be able to do it.
- Look for new computer.
- (trekfannish) Prepare English translations of two stories for the Engl. Ed. of "Passion"
