Which ends with me applying for a project in the middle of the night (which means updating my profile, processing a PDF, writing a perfect mail) - and this for a project in possibly Muenchen?

Somehow differing from my original plans. Slightly. For about 650 kilometres.

OUCH! That would be a long train ride. The longest one I ever went on was from Kitzengen to Paderborn and back a couple days later. Abut 300 kilometers there and over 4 hours long with one hour being a layover. I really needed it too.

Oh, I'm driving on weekends on a regular base - 450 km on Fridays, and back 450 km on Mondays...
