Severinne posted her long-awaited Recompense story and it's marvelous. I just posted lengthy gushing comments which she totally deserves. Yum yum yum. Her first story back last year made me fall for Pike/McCoy, and see where it got me *palms face*

As for my next Draws part, it crossed 52K words today which translates to a fucking 113 Word pages in Times Roman 12pt and I'm not done yet. While some things might end on the cutting floor, I also get new scene ideas daily and the folks all want to shine, so, yeah.

P.S. I don't think you should envy me because fic of that length is terrible work and I have moments in which I wish I could stick to 1500 words drabbles...

Oh, goodness, thanks for the rec, sweetie! I'd say you'd made me blush, but I'm still glowing happily over the wonderful feedback you left on both parts. *flails happily*

I just got home and am dead tired with a long day ahead tomorrow, so while I might not get around to replying to your comments right away, I just wanted to let you know they were received and loved and I'm rolling around in your pitch-perfect observations like a happy puppy. *g*

And hell, now that I've done that fic (at near 20K it's the longest story I've done to date) I seriously don't envy you because I know how much work that was to hold together and the idea of 52K and counting is just... wow. I'm glad I get the much happier job of just reading and loving it. :)

Holding 52K and four people who all want their moment in the spotlight together is giving me a lot of headaches. Your method to focus on a few selected moments and give these in detail is really the better choice but my folks keep rambling, pushing eight days of vacation FULL of stuff, and it's half fun and half agony to deal with that. So, on to writing more Pike/McCoy sexing ♥

Ok, no pressure. 113 pages sounds promising. You can even make a "making of" out of it when you're done cutting... ;-)
