People managed to sell me "fuckbuddy" as an actually nice term, but I think I'd rather stick to the term "friends with benefits", which I've just learned.

Other than that, I'm at home and dead tired. But happy, very, very happy.

I think for some people, the difference might be that friends with benefits means friends, that have sex, and fuckbuddies means they ONLY hang out when sex is involved.

That wasn't what I heard from some people, but I'm sure both expressions have a wide range of definitions going around...they drive me crazy, args :)

that's what happens with slang. shatfat and i once had a five-second misunderstanding due to northern/southern slang issues... for me, "scrub" means to wear one's dingy, uninteresting clothing such as T-shirts and warm up pants. For hir, it means to get other people to pay for one, i.e. mooch food. Totally different slang meanings.

But your post did inspire a K/S idea :p

i won't take it personally, but lordy if you don't sometimes make me feel that i owe the world K/Mc since i write so much K/S x_O hehehhhehh.

this IS the first K/S i've written in at least 2 weeks. First *anything*. i've been knitting almost round the clock, lol... man, from one fringe-niche-almost-all-female hobby to another... heheheh

Oh, I would also read Saavik stories or S/Mc or Sarek or...well, I'm flexible *g* But of course, K/Mc remains my obsession. Dang, and it started so low-level...

(I have two in the works now, and my MU is also full of K/Mc.)

i am not incredibly helpful in the "anything but K/S" department, lol... but since Saavik is married to another woman in my world there's always the chance I'll become inspired enough to write with her on that account...
