Christopher Pike/Hikaru Sulu, How they got together in the Academy and so on, anything not sad

Not sure if this has been posted before but here.

I desperately need Pike/Sulu fics, I've only ever read 1. It's so sad. Anything as long as it's Pike/Sulu either in the Academy, or on the starship, or both. I'll love you forever. Oh and please don't make Chris die, that'd be sad :(

Gen or Spock/Kirk; Sarek is a Romulan spy

I just read the awesome fic “Balance of Loyalties” from WerewolvesAreReal (You can find it on AO3: http://archiveofourown.org/works/947334). It’s TOS and in it Sarek turns out to be a Romulan spy. The fic is sadly short and only about the initial discovery not the consequences.

Now I want this to happen to AOS Spock. To the Spock who only recently lost both his planet and his mother to a Romulan.

How would he react? Would he still practice the Vulcan control over emotion or reject it? Being Vulcan is such a large part of personality that he would have to invent himself completely new.

And after Nero, how would others react? While his friends would surely accept him, the distrust a Romulan, even a half human one, he would have to face is strong.

Kirk + Pike, Living together and Father/Son relationships

For some reason I keep imagining Kirk and Pike sitting at a table together having a meal.

What I like to imagine lead to this was that when Kirk got to the Academy, the no longer had any lodgings left for him, last-minute enrolment and all. He crashes with Bones and spends the rest of his money on Academy essentials like PADDs and stuff.

But the whole crashing with Bones thing is a short-term solution at best. One day he's at a meeting with his advisor who just so happens to be Pike because he recruited the guy and all and lets slip that he's been living with Bones in one person dorm room and can't afford much else even with his odd jobs.

Pike, feeling guilty because it's partially his fault that Kirk is here offers to let him live at his place.

Cue father/son bonding time. Nothing sexual. AND YEAH. AND WHENEVER IT LIKE KIRK SHOULD LEAVE ONE OR BOTH OF THEM COME UP WITH SOME EXCUSE FOR JIM TO STAY.
