I'm also trying to write an m/m story for caitn on request - found an old draft and am working on it. 2000 words so far, and I hope you'll like it, Cait. It's TNG! :)

I NAILED IT DOWN!

Had a funny sessions with screws, nails, wood and a hammer - no, I didn't pierce anyone's balls, I assembled two IKEA thingies, LOL!

In such moments I totally feel connected to my anchestors. I'm coming from a row of people who were carpenters and joiners, and although I rarely work with wood, WHEN I do it, my dexterity is okay and it has something satisfying to have a concrete result instead of black letters on a white screen :)

Husband is at home, I collected him myself a few hours ago because he didn't want to drive. Had a hot bath and is now sleeping with a hot water bottle next to his aching thigh. Hopefully nothing really wrong (e.g. joints or bones), but just painfully torn somehow. He hopes it'll get better tomorrow.

Am watching the movie "The Hours" on the sideline, I ordered it for rent but didn't even remember it. It is interesting, but also confusing. I don't really get the timelines...
