Trek Meme.
Feb. 1st, 2007 09:52 amMax (Kirk's old friend), Kirk and McCoy are developing a sequel of their own in my brain, duh! And I really have rl issues on my todo list today. Must. Move. Away. From. Computer!
I'm also trying to write an m/m story for
caitn on request - found an old draft and am working on it. 2000 words so far, and I hope you'll like it, Cait. It's TNG! :)
FAVORITE THINGS:
Star Trek Series: TOS. Since 1975 or something. DS9 and (with a distance) TNG following.
Star Trek Movie: ST:II. It's the best (but I'm glad Spock comes back to us!)
Star Trek Character: *is torntorntorn* I can't pinpoint one. Well, maybe McCoy. With Kirk, Spock and Sisko(!) a close second.
Star Trek Pairing: Kirk/Spock/McCoy. Because it's canon for me (thanks, Bill!). K/Mc and S/Mc close seconds. But I read every pairing in every series if written well and/or kinky.
Alien Race: Vulcans. Can't help it, they're absolutely fascinating to me.
Alien World: Vulcan.
Federation Class Starship: Constitution: specifically NCC-1701, no bloody A B C or D (thanks, Lyra)
TOS Episode: City on the Edge of Forever.
TNG Episode: Hm. The double-episode with the Borg. And for Riker, I love the one with the Pegasus ship and his ex-commander (one of the very slashy Riker eps, IMO).
DS9 Episode: "In The Pale Moonlight"; then also the episode when Sisko gets back the station and Dukat's daughter gets shot (Sacrifice of Angels, thanks, Charlene); and the last episodes. (I suck at titles for DS9.)
VOY Episode: "Year in Hell", because, suffering! And the first ep with Species 4576 (or what's its name?).
ENT Episode: Uhm. I've seen my share but no fav. I would maybe like the Mirror eps, if I watched them ;)
Star Trek Quote: Oooh, hard! "In every revolution, there's one man with a mission!" Kirk to MU-Spock (Mirror Mirror). And for Bones: "I'm your doctor and I'm your friend, Jim. Get back your command. Get it back before you really do grow old. Before you turn into part of this collection." (ST II)
LEAST FAVORITE THINGS:
Star Trek Series: ENT. You could've guessed that one, I suppose.
Star Trek Movie: Nemesis, Insurrection - and Generations, because it sucks as TOS and TNG movie. Duh. But it does have some great Kirk scenes, if you cut it a lot.
Star Trek Character: It's not like I would switch off the screen for any of them, but I don't really like Worf, Crusher, Neelix and T'Pol.
Star Trek Pairing: A good writer can sell me anything. However, I tend to be more critical with het stories. Janeway/Chakotay, Picard/Crusher, Riker/Troi and alike rarely float my boat (if I feel inclined to it read at all).
Race: Those scheeming ones in ENT.
Alien World: That pseudo-rural planet in "Insurrection". It sucks.
Federation Class Starship: No opinion.
TOS Episode: From the better ones - "Galileo Seven". It hurts me to see how Spock is handled.
TNG Episode: The one that is all made up of flashbacks from a comatose Riker's brain (thanks Lyra)
DS9 Episode: The one where Quark has to save his abducted mother or something.
VOY Episode: Args, the one where Tom Paris flies faster than Warp 10 - by using a bigger engine! Are you STUPID, writers?! Physics 101 and you fail it in a scifi show!
ENT Episode: More than I can count :/
Star Trek Quote: *scratches head* None that I remember.
CHOICES:
Trekkie or Trekker? YES!
Kirk or Picard? While I'd like to have tea with Picard, I want to chain up Kirk and go to a bdsm party with him...so, KIRK.
Defiant or Delta Flyer? Defiant!
Tribbles or Targs? Tribbles.
Coffee, Black or Tea, Earl Grey? Coffee, black.
Porthos or Spot? None of them...
EMH or Data? Data :)
Pah-wraiths or Prophets? Prophets, for being gods and not gods and actually making me think about religion ;)

Date: 2007-02-01 01:13 pm (UTC)I think that was "Sacrifice of Angels". I only remember it because at the time it was first aired, posters to ASCEM (yes, I'm old) were constantly referring to "Sacrifice of Angles", and somebody mentioned their vision of Dukat cradling a giant protractor in his arms.

Threshold, the episode so bad the producers erased it from canon.

I do too, except for TOS for some reason. I'm not sure why Spock/Uhura makes more sense to me than Riker/Troi, but it does.

Date: 2007-02-01 03:02 pm (UTC)I think I like Uhura a LOT more than Troi, so S/U is the pairing between two characters I like, while Riker/Troi...well... ;)
