Weird conditioning

I've always been the one of us to jump up when the postman rings and we're still in bed. Which means I get up, hastily throw myself into clothes, run downstairs shouting "I'm coming!" and hasten to the door to unlock it.

Lately we got a lot of things by snailmail. Now that hubby was away, it was even more my duty to listen to the door bell.

Last night, I woke up twice because I thought someone had rang.
This night, I dreamed someone was at the door, and woke up in a rush - and it was 0522.

*bonks head* We need to buy less things. Otherwise, I'm going to hear door bells forever!
