Other than that, the last 24 hours were extremely decadent. Had cocktail and risotto with colleagues yesterday evening, then sushi for lunch today. Went into town and spent lots of money on very few clothes and shoes. Finally crowned the day by taking a cab home, because I felt tired and didn't want to take public transport.

Work goes well. The intranet and internet were both down for about 5! hours, but I'm not going to tell anyone that I'm working for one of the biggest software vendors in Europe, no, I won't ;)

Tomorrow: Already Thursday! Yay!

Watson Was a Woman - by Rex Stout

Heehee. There is an inordinate amount of Watson Was Really a Woman, or What if Watson Were a Woman? fic on ff.net--all staring Mary Sue as Watson. I really get the sense that it is the same as any other Mary Sue, but since tehre is so little other place for Mary Sues in canon and Holmes and Watson already live together, it is so much more satisfying for Mary Sue to be Watson instead of an outside Woman in Black or whatever. Then there was the one where Holmes was a woman (http://www.hwslash.net/content/variety.html), but I can't say that it worked for me.
