# Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
# I will respond by asking you five questions. I get to pick the questions.
# Update your livejournal/website with the answers to the questions.
# Include this explanation and an offer to interview someone else in the same post.
# When others comment asking to be interviewed, ask them five questions.

1. When you were ten years old, what did you want to be when you 'grew up'?

I wanted to become chemist :) I got my first little chemistry lab with ten, and it remained my hobby until it became my profession...then I lost the fun over time.

2. What was your first computer?

My own first computer was a used Apple II+ remake from Asia *g*, around 1987. And it even had porn on it, animated pics...can you imagine, I jerked off to the outlines of people on a black/green monitor screwing *g* But my brother had a C64 and we shared that one, too. This was roundabout 1985.

3. Where do you see yourself (if you could see the future) ten years from now?

I have no idea, really. So much depends on the next year, it's a big crossroad and I don't know which way to take yet.

4. What is your favorite K/S/Mc story and why?

That's hard to say and I loved many stories, esp. the Under the Sun series, but I think Choices by whitecrow, T'Tina and Greywolf the Wanderer is my favorite story. It starts as K/S *g* but it's so fitting to the characters IMO and it has wonderful sex and emotional intensity in it. The kind of story that I can read and read and read and never get tired of it.

5. Are you planning another trip to the US in the near future (within three years)?

I don't know. A part of me badly wants to go, another doesn't want to come to Bushland anytime soon, and then there is the money questions...but I would like to, yes.

Thanks for the great answers! I remember the green computer monitors, and my cursor (>) that was permanently burned in at the top of the screen. My first computer was a TSR-80 from Radio Shack. You had to try and save yor data on a cassette tape, which only worked half the time.

I must go and re-read Choices now.....

Alright, let's see...it's hard, because some things have already been asked...

1. I don't get that knitting thing at all. Please try to explain short and crisp why you got obsessed with it, so that I might finally understand it :)
2. What story or book would you take with you for an island stay?

3. Is there a subject that instantly angers you? And do you become outspoken or super-quiet then?

4. What's your favorite dessert?

5. Having a long hot bath or rather a refreshing shower?

1. I've always liked making my own clothing so things can be MY favorite colors and small enough to fit MY body. I also really really love soft textures and a lot of clothing just isn't soft enough to make me grin from ear to ear the way the stuff I knit is. It also keeps me from biting my fingernails.

2. Watership Down and/or books of Asimov short stories and mysteries.

3. The gay marriage thing, and whether or not I go on loud rants about it depends on who else is there. If nobody agrees with me I'll sit in the corner and mope.

4. Rice pudding or green tea ice cream

5. Shower because I tend to actually literally *cook* in a bath. I will only bathe with a lover, actually....

1. Your weekly challenges...do you sometimes buy the reward although you didn't make it?

2. Is there a fandom that you love above all others?

3. What do you like the most about yourself?

4. What can you stand the least about yourself (even though others might not think so)?

5. One wish from the fairy tale fary - what would it be :)?

I already know that I will regret this but....

Ok, I did you, now you do me.

Um, I mean, would you do me please, ma'am. ;-)

*pfft* Like I don't already feel free to tell you exactly what I think about...everything. Oh, please.

Cool icon! Ahem. I'll ask. Not everything that comes to mind, but if it's too personal anyway, don't answer :) I hope I don't ask something you already answered elsewhere, but I lost track of everyone's interviews...

1) AFAIS you don't actively date women, although your male dates don't seem to work all that well...why not?

2) Do you think you'll live on your faraway ex-goatfarm for the rest of your life?

3) In your youth, did you ever think of becoming something else than a physician?

4) Were you ever close to switch profession to something completely different?

5) And something fannish: Do you think you'll ever write K/Mc again, or are you finally cured from the attempt *g*?

2) What would your perfect holiday look like?

3) Does your husband read (maybe even comment) your fiction? And what does he think about slash?

4) What do you like about Spock/McCoy :)?

5) With which character (any series) would you REALLY love to have dinner, and why?

2) Looking into the future - what do you think your life will look like in ten years?

4) Is there any interesting Australian receipe you'd like to recommend?

5) One wish from the Fairy - what would it be?

3) Do you only write and read slash?

4) Your RL: Do you think your money problems will ever end?

1. I watched TOS from my earliest memories. Found Spock fascinating ;-) attractive, very contained and yet you could see flickers of emotion and how deeply he felt. I also loved Len, who was ornery, had a lovely gleam in his eyes when teasing Spock, was the kind of adult I wanted to become.

When I got into slash and then saw TOS re-runs on TV it just clicked. That and I never liked Kirk all that much as a character and so could never see the Kirk/Spock got me into Spock/McCoy.

2. just dinner? *sigh* I think I would love to talk with Garak over dinner. Talk to him of the things I value, think, etc and debate with him on various topics. Me taking the side of Freedom to Speech, him arguing that some limits are necessary due to some abusing the right by spreading hatred toward minorities etc. And then us switching which side we are arguing for, me for the limits, him for the freedom of speech and learning more about him from the arguments.

3. I've written one Gen short story, a few gen drabbles, a lot of non-fandom poetry, some fandom poetry that is non-slash etc. I read whatever catches my interest for fandom stories, if you don't catch me within the first few sentences in a drabble, the first few paragraphs or so of a story, then I won't read the rest.

I've read gen, het, slash and enjoyed all. Then again for non-fan reading I read Sci-fi, romances, mysteries, westerns, biographies, text books, poetry, books on philosophy, humour etc.

4. If I can get into this 1 year course to become a LPN or get work with an agency that pays better for what I do now (which is almost every agency) then I think so. I just have a hard time motivating myself to try for either as I am convinced they won't really want me. And it would take more than a few sentences to say why I'm convinced of this.

5. I prefer not to talk of my preferences or whether or not I have/am/or- will-become involved with anyone. No offense intended by not answering your question.

No problem at all! I think I just got curious because most of us are quite outspoken, and I realized that you are not. But it's very alright not to be as exhibitionistic as we others *g*

Many thanks for the answers :))
