Top of Weirdness.
Oct. 18th, 2005 08:32 pmOh, and I finally know what I really want to do, artwise.
Making my own digital fan movies, where I don't have to rely on existing material that much.
The software isn't really ready yet, but I talked to a friend, and two things are worth looking into for this:
- The Machinima movement, people making movies with game engines.
- The new game The Movies, which might not in its first edition, but maybe in the future be used for setting up a complete movie scenario with self-defined characters.
My ideal software would allow uploading of pics of the characters. All you do is set defined points on the body. Second, one should be able to upload faces of all emotional varieties. Then you give the software your script, feed backgrounds and make a movie.
Sigh. And I don't even know how to morph or 3D render. But I hope for the software to make it foolproof.
And I hope to find some likewise minded loony tunes for this project.
