Most annoying article in a long time, insulting just about everyone except the standard(?) hetero couple with children:
However much I love my gay friends, I don't want them running the country, linked in the I_am_pansexual lj group where discussion can be found. Don't read the article if you get easily pissed about people who show homophobia and xenophobia in every sentence.

Sometimes I really wonder if fighting such tendencies is a totally lost case. Sigh.

Sad to say, Lowri Turner is actually quite big in Wales. And I always thought quite highly of her, until this.

And "If they think they are old enough to run the country then surely they are old enough to work out which gender they fancy?": there speaks a woman who's far too hetero with children.

There's definitely something. I honestly thought that the whole "Of course I'm not prejudiced, some of my best friends are [gay / black / amputees / aliens - delete as applicable]" argument was only used for comedy purposes nowadays. We obviously live in different worlds. And I don't want to live in hers.

Oh fer god's sake!!! I cannot believe the author actually used that 'some of my best friends are...' line - so frickin cliched!!!

Shows what the author knows. A good portion of the clientele of the company I work for are gay male couples, and a number of these couples are raising children. They could certainly tell the author some tales...!
