That's hilarious, although in crosswalks in London are the same way, only few peril crossing against a red, and those are usually tourists (read: Americans) looking the wrong way for cars.

Well, I can safely say I'd be ticketed and die if I ever tried to go to Germany. LOL

The brutally honest thing does explain a few things about my grandmother who was raised mostly German style. It doesn't often mix well with the generic American style and is like oil and vinegar with the Greek style. Greeks will usually smile to your face and be unfailingly polite, but behind your back...

I've had so many interesting family get togethers over the years.
