Writing published books, stories or "pro-novels" for series/movies? (not business/academic)

The only 'published' work I have is in fanzines ... and back in High School, I had a couple of poems published in the 'unofficial' school paper.

for the published books, if you had a "I hope to write and publish a book one day, hopefully sooner than later." I would have checked that, or "I'm not a published writer... yet." even.
