Why do all of my latest vidding projects go through a major phase of complete chaos?

Alright, it may have to do with trying to use lots of clips from lots of sources - currently about 100 clips from movies 1-7 and a completely different video.

I dunno how anyone can finish vids in a few days *envies*

Not all - I once saw a good one that was done quickly. It might be a function of

(no of clips)x(complexity of song)x(time of thinking about it)x(visual imagination)

Ah well. Back to work vidding :)
