Fascinating! Especially considering I got a "how to knit" book for Christmas, and have been sitting watching TV at night practicing (it's not as easy, or as fast, as crochet...but I also got a book that has some wonderful projects that combine the two)...I do believe I might add these to my library of craft books...they sound like a lot of fun, although I'll have to keep them out of sight if Mom comes around...she simply wouldn't understand.
