Took a long hot bath, had a great dinner cooked by my husband, re-read the TOS novel "First Strike" (Invasion Series #1) - the last trek pro-novel series I read and liked :) - and now would like to proceed with part #2, but I should work tomorrow (geeze, work!) because my nervy customer wants me. Need to get up at 0700 no less. Not sure how to survive this. And whaddayamean, run-on-sentences in my livejournal? Never.

Wrote some more MU fic. I swear I'll finish that bugger this year. What's a little delay of 4 (gasp) years in finishing a series, eh?

That sounds relaxing... ^_^

Congrats on your work! (The costumer may be pesky, but - hey - he's paying, isn't he?) ^_^

He is, no problem with that. However, I have to fight a bit to get over the bad feelings I developed in December... Ah well, I can always torture some innocent trek characters during my car ride ;)

Have you read the Crucible series, based on City on the Edge of Forever? The first book is what happens from McCoy's POV, with history changed and unchanged.

No, I haven't. Would you recommend it for reading?

I was actually hoping you could tell me. It looks pretty good. I bought it along with the second in the series which focuses on Spock. The third, Kirk's POV, comes out next month.

On the SpockMcCoy list, someone just wrote that:

"I'm working on the McCoy book now and so far so good. It's a little
long and long-winded, and following all those time jumps can be a
drain. At least they are each a chapter long, so if I really wanted
to, I could read every other chapter for one story then switch...."

So, hm, sounds mixed.
