Natural Born Killers is UNRATED in the USA (you know, like...Disney movies).

EDIT: Seems it had an R rating, but imdb as well as amazon list it as UNRATED. Hm.

And to say something more amusing: it's so funny that my husband wracked all my totally tilted statistics in my Kirk Poll by voting Kirk is heterosexual :))

*amused*

IMDB is wrong, sadly. It was originally rated NC-17, then Oliver Stone edited it down to get an R.

Most Disney movies aren't rated because they predate the MPAA, the organization that rates movies.

Well, in this case Amazon is wrong too, because it also has the Unrated (http://amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw/103-7014891-2371801?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=natural+born+killers&Go.x=0&Go.y=0&Go=Go) there - I checked before posting it here...

Where did you get your information from?

My DVD. It has an entire discussion about how Stone got the R rating because in 1994 an NC-17 rating was a kiss of death.

There is a possibility, though, that the movie *as sold now* is unrated if it's been changed from the theatrical release. The MPAA only rates the editions of movies that are to be released theatrically. If the director changes it significantly, he has to get it re-rated to show it in theatres. He doesn't have to get it re-rated to sell it in a DVD edition.

Ah. Strange but somehow understandable ;) However, it puts a funny note on the US rating system *G*
