Startrek XI - latest actor rumors...we'll see. I like Sinise, and can imagine the others to play well, but I fear Paramount will f*ck it up anyway *thinks of Nemesis and shudders*

Current work down to one weird problem and checking the print-outs for errors. I'm behind my schedule, but it should has to be fine when I send it later tonight.

Well, I can certainly imagine these three (Damon, Brody & Sinise) playing the parts ... I'll remain cautiously optimistic about this movie, for now. *emphasis on cautiously*

Yeah, same here. Very cautiously, but I think they can't botch it MORE up than Nemesis (or ST V), which gives me a it of hope ;)

Well, my opinion is that if they really want to do it, they should at least have somehow fitting actors, and I could buy these three ones. But all in all, I fear a lot about this whole movie project...

I would "enjoy" Gary Sinise, but not the others - I even think it might have convinced me to go and see it if they'd picked younger actors (not necessarily famous ones).
*shrugs* I'll keep brain bleach nearby. No one can replace Bill, Len and De! *clings to the trio* o.O

Definitely! Total crap, by any standard IMVHO. We were really pissed when we got out of the cinema that first night it was on.

Of course, I will be right there again for ST XI, but I hope it will be better...can't get much worse.

Wow. That's freaky. I said to someone several weeks ago that Gary Sinise reminded me of De Kelley, looks-wise, and could play McCoy. And I've already used Adrien Brody as a Spock body double, as well as turning him into a Vulcan. I guess I must be psychic.

Nemesis is crap all around, by any standard. Plot holes the size of the Enterprise. Sigh. I actually like TNG, but the movies were all crap except for the First Contact one :/
