It's been such a long time since I saw American in Paris, but... Singing in the Rain has Donald O'Connor doing Make'Em Laugh! And Moses Supposes! And the whole "No! No! No!" "Yes! Yes! Yes!" routine... (I could go on...)
Yes, it's just a gorgeous movie. But interestingly, when it came out after American in Paris, it didn't have as much success as that one in the beginning.
