Remember how I complained about the sucky manual lawn-mower? After fighting with a particularly problematic spot in our (really small) garden, he looked at me and said, "I'm thinking about driving to the hardware store NOW and buying an electric one."
YAY! Finally! I've told him to get an electrical one for years! Miracles happen! Now waiting for his return...
