CSD and Greece

CSD 2004 in Cologne (my 9th gay pride parade there, woah!) went well, the weather wasn't too bad, we had one flat tire on our pony cart, but drove nevertheless, there were about 1 mio people watching :) Pics coming later this week.

And totally unrelated - GREECE is European Soccer Champion! Congrats!

(And since they have a German trainer, we can all feel a bit like we have won, too ;)

Ooohhh, I have fond memories of the Cologne CSDs of 98 and 99!! Had more fun there than on any of the CSDs I've been to here in Berlin, with their unnerving Campari girls and third-rate stage shows.

:) We've never been to Berlin, since hubby and I started meeting in Cologne at all, and so it became traditional to walk with the Cologne Pride Parade. But we've been at the Hamburg parade lately, and I was a bit disappointed...ah well, what shall we expect from the Northern folks *G*

But actually I can't say how the overall parade was in Cologne - when you're part of the parade, you see almost zilch :) The truck in front of us had good music - at least until the music machine broke down ;) Then they began to sing *arghhhh* ;P Very non-consensual!
