Had troubles sleeping (due to cramping) and ended spending half the night on the couch (sleeping more upright seems better). Also listened extensively to "Photographs and Memories"", an S/Mc songvid by MvD. Seems to have a trance-inducing effect on me.

Am brooding half over my stock charting project (feel like re-writing it all and maybe I do) and half a story for the ASCEM fic challenge which will be really a challenge this time.

3jane wrote me Three pieces of her personal canon for McCoy :) I thought about offering that meme, but I'm not sure I could come up with enough good ideas for characters.

What the h.... if anyone wants personal canon, drop me a comment.

Oh, you're killing me...

Kirk:
1. Doesn't really like his father. Well, maybe he would if he would have known him better, but the father was mostly away and then died on a Starfleet mission.

2. Therefore, for all his independence, there is that deep-down but unreal wish for a happy family life; that's why Carol keeping David away from him hurts so much. (But he never even considered to not go into space in exchange.)

3. Hates all drugs (except for alcohol) because he's a control freak.

Sulu:
1. Demora Sulu was born because Sulu wanted to prove himself that he can get it up with a woman.

2. Other than that, he is the perfect gay friend for women like Rand because he doesn't have the least sexual interest and simply takes them as a human, not as blond bimbos.

3. He's together with Chekov because it's the logical thing and works okay. But it's not the big love, and it's not an exclusive relationship.

Nothing for Brigadoon...it's really much too long :)
