Jul. 6th, 2004 07:23 pm1. Your LJ "syredronning" & what it means?
It's the Danish translation of Acidqueen, my eternal internet nick from the beginning of my internet activities (1994). Which is an homage to Tina Turner in "Tommy" by The Who. Acidqueen was taken when I opened my yahoo account, to I ended up with syredronning. Which is kind of funny, because I know only three sentences of Danish :)
2. On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) how well does your LJ represent who you are?
I'd say 8-9. I'm becoming more cautious, because I am part of so many
different and divergent groups now so that some of my postings might stir trouble. But I don't like this development...
3. How much about your life do you post to LJ?
A lot :) More than some people want to know, probably ;)
4. Is there anything you refuse to post about?
Uhm. My income, my banking account number, my telephone number and
address. Such things. About everything else, I am exhibitionistic ;)
5. On a scale of 1-10 how interesting do you think your own journal is to others?
I try to keep it interesting, but actually it's more for me than for
others - I mean, it's a diary :) So I'd give it a five.
6. Has anyone ever joined LJ because of you?
watergal did probably not join because of me, but also
because I'm here ;)
7. What proportion of your posts are friends-only?
Almost none.
8. What is your favorite interest on LJ?
Fan stuff and about everyday life. The big mixture.
9. How often do you post in communities, and did you ever start your own?
Daily, and I have a mailinglist, but it's very lowlevel.
10. How often do you respond / comment on other peoples journals?
Daily.
11. Do you prefer to write in your journal, or read other journals?
Both equally, I think.
12. Have you ever had something mean said to you or been stalked, harassed, or got into an argument/flame war on LJ?
No.
13. Have you ever banned someone from your journal?
No.
14. Who are your three favorite LJ friend(s) and why?
I thought about it, but I can't tell, not at all :)
(ETA: I know who my favorite friends are -
dreamplum,
shatfat and
watergal, because they're rl friends, too. However, concerning the lj contributions, some people have really grown on me :)
16. Why are you most likely to add someone to your friends list?
I added folks because they're friends down to "because they have cute
icons" ;) So I can't really answer this.
17. Do you automatically add friends to your journal if they add you first?
Usually, yes. If I see it ;P
18. What is the most likely reason you wouldn't add someone to your friends list?
Homophobic, nazi or overly religious stuff in it. But those wouldn't
add ME as friend anyway.
19. Is your "significant other" on LJ?
No. Though I know that he sometimes reads my journal :)
20. Have you ever wanted to meet someone on LJ?
Actually, I have met folks who are also here :) But I'd like to meet
more of them for sure. Especially the German and Swedish writers :)

Well, I'm not a Nazi. While not a homophobe, I'm morally against homosexuality. Basically, this doesn't mean that I won't be friends with anyone who is homosexual, but I make sure my stance is clear with them. If they're OK that I believe what I believe, then we can be friends. I would hope that they'd do the same, so that, while I might not believe in their beliefs, I could at least understand them. I mean, I'd be friends with a theif if they were a nice person. I might not trust them to come into my house due to their past history, but we could still be friends. It's kind of like that type of thing.
However, my main point is that I do tend to get overzealous in my journal when it comes to religion. I hope this doesn't upset you. (It doesn't seem to have affected you when I've said anything in the past.)

And, if you want to see what I write that's religious and can be construed as homophobic, check this entry (http://www.livejournal.com/users/admiralmemo/177772.html) from sometime near Valentine's Day. This is how I get when I get emotional and I feel someone's attacked my religion. This doesn't happen often, but it's intense when it does happen.
