One of Those Moments
Jul. 17th, 2004 11:28 amI was just outside doing some gardening work, because the weather is really good and the garden looks like crap, too. And suddenly it hit me that there is no reason everything should be in chaos when I'm not at home at the weekend, because hubby is here all the time.
Same hubby who couldn't buy a new lawn mower in about four weeks since the other one broke down. Who is now in his way to buy things for the barbecue (which was scheduled about 2 months ago). Who leaves me in the house in which in the kitchen pile the (at least cleaned) dishes of about 2 weeks. And some not so clean one. Same hubby who promised that he would clean our living room. We've to be at the meeting point at 1400. We need 30 min to get the ponycarts and all the stuff into our car (1330) and need about ten minutes to go there (1320). It's 1130 now.
I better go and clean it all. Deepsigh.
Face it, Acid, you married a messie and it's not as if you didn't know right from the start. You lived two years with him before you married, so you've no right to complain about a hubby who will do most things related to the house and the garden only on gunpoint force. You vowed to never try and change him, because it would be useless anyway and only lead to bad feelings.
ARGS ;P
