It's cold here. The spiders seem to be really big and agile this year, and I'm not the only one observing this.

I'm sorry about the spiders. We had frost a few nights ago - killed all the bugs, but made the apples sweeter.

For the cold, a nice hot shower helps if you have the time.

Well, I'm not looking forward to frost usually, but if it kills spiders, it's very welcome.

Great, agile spiders. Reminds me of another reason I'm glad I moved from Arizona to California - no tarantulas in California, lots of them in Arizona.

*Lots* of big bugs in Arizona. Scorpions, centipedes, etc.

We had a tarantula living in our back yard in Nogales, AZ, and we couldn't get rid of the damn thing. I think it was immortal.
