Decided to enhance my ASCEM masterlist Excel VBA scripts a little. They are not really nicely programmed, but the new scripts do the following:

- Copy the masterlist.
- Throw away incomplete stories.
- Make an All_Authors list.
- Copy the edited masterlist into a new sheet for each series (TOS, TNG...) and delete all stories that don't belong to that series (crossovers are kept).
- Extract the authors of each series sheet into a new sheet for an authors' list per series.

It was a bit hard, mostly because I only code VBA once a year - whenever I feel my ASCEM/GO lists could use some new features. In my first year, I tried to code categorization scripting, but it never worked satisfactorily (sorry, Cait).

Other than that, have been swimming today (almost no other people, cool) but didn't do anything for my customer - tomorrow, I swear!

About ASCEM...there are a few stories that are under the wrong author's name. For instance, there are two Melissas, one who wrote DS9 slash and one who wrote VOY het. One of the DS9 slash stories (Alien Relativities, IIRC) is listed under the wrong Melissa.

Okay, I tried to check this, but sorry, there is no "Melissa" at all in my list, and I also have no story called "Alien Relativities" listed.

Is it possibly that you confused something?

I have a feeling she changed her monicker from "Melissa" to "Melissa Jones" halfway through, but the fact that the stories are actually series (and one series has stories under three different names) has to be confusing to the moderators.
