The funny thing is I see more people who's native language is english make mistakes like that than people who learned english as a 2nd language.

Of course! It sounds the same, but a second-language-learner just knows that one is a verb and one an adjective. Just like the its, it's problem. It's a grammar difference.

Once a person said to me that I started to make errors like a native language speaker - great compliment *GGGGG*
