The world needs more Pike. Always.
Jan. 24th, 2013 09:00 pmSo I'm feeding my Pike mood by downloading and reading old stories.
On Monday, I went through my AO3 bookmarks and hit this:
Shining on the Quay by topaz is one of the "newer" Pike/Kirk stories around, and one of my favorites for the way it develops, the hotness, and the promising ending (why, yes, it goes on in my head :)
Today, blcwriter posted in her lj for the first time in a long while, and that made me remember that I totally needed to download all 13 parts of "Reverse Order", which was supposed to develop into Pike/Kirk/McCoy but is unfinished.

The intro for the later parts, where she links to all those fellow Pike writers, made me a little wistful - 2009/2010 was a great time for Pike fans, and I hope that no matter what the new movie brings (no need to discuss this here, I want to remain as spoiler-free as possible!), it will bring another flood of Pike fiction :)
