Isn't interesting to look up the copyright situation in Gutenberg projects...?

The US Gutenberg project clearly offers its texts as public domain texts, besides a few exceptions. Which would make it possible to use the material commercially.

For the German Gutenberg project, however, copyright lies with the website owners (which is a company!) Only private usage of material is free.
