Maeh, maeh
Feb. 6th, 2004 08:51 pm1. What scene always makes you cry?
None always, but close are the goodbye scene of "Casablanca" and the moment in ST II after Spock's funeral where the camera moves to the planet with the orchestra playing "Amazing Grace".
2. What scene always makes you laugh?
"Troubles with Tribbles", when the hatch opens over Kirk - and the next, where Spock totally deadpan delivers his calculated number of tribbles.
3. What scene always makes you cringe?
"Galileo 7", the various crewmen verbally bashing Spock.
4. What scene always confuses you?
After thinking for a while...I think I will never understand how in TNG the situation can be urgent and deadly and all and they slowly walk around as if they had all the time in the world. PLEEEZE, if your character is in danger to be dead in 30 seconds, let it ACT accordingly.
5. What scene always makes you want to kill the writers?
Generations, with ST V a close second. And ENT, esp. "The Andorian Incident" and the mindmeld disease crap ep! (BTW, I don't care enough for the TNG movies to want to kill anyone, but only First Contact was really acceptable IMVHO :)

Date: 2004-02-06 02:43 pm (UTC)I just wonder though... I just don't see what other people hate about it. That is, I know what their reasons for hating it are, I just don't see what they see.

Date: 2004-02-06 04:14 pm (UTC)The first twenty eps of ENT we've seen at one weekend, and found them acceptable for the most part. But later it detoriated IMO. I had some later ones on my computer, and just couldn't watch them through. So yeah, I find it bad nowadays. And stick to that. But thanks to some very good ENT writers, I like the fic nonetheless. Hope you're satified with that *LOL*
