A citation I will paint on the head of my bed in BIG letters :P
Fake it 'til you make it.
(source, which also happens to be a great article about "Wally Wood's 22 Panels That Always Work")

(And a link to 16 panels that don't work all that well...)

Thanks for the link, it was a great article and I'd never have found it otherwise. (uh, wonky tenses...)

I'll join the tattooing but I'd prefer mine on my right arm. So that I'd actually see it often :P

My left arm should bear: "Good is good but done is better"

I wasn't talking about tattooing, but obviously I explained myself very badly here.

"Good is good but done is better" is also very nice :))) *G*

Paint it on the head of your bed? I wonder how one would apply "Fake it till you make it" to, um, bedroom activities. I hope no one in your bedroom feels the need to fake anything.

Seriously, though, I love the article and the comic, and I might be able to get some inspiration from them. I'm a big fan of good webcomics, but my own webcomic, shall we say, focuses a lot more on the words than the art. Practically all the drawings are copied and pasted from strip to strip, and it's quite common for a strip to consist of the same picture every panel, with only the talking bubbles changed. It's not that I can't put more work into it, it's just that I don't have the motivation to devote that much time to a comic when there are so many other important things to do. Basically, I'm lazy. So I'll probably never get up there with the greatest webcomic artists of all time, but hey, it's an amusing pastime.

(I'm a bit embarrassed to admit that my own most commonly pasted panel is the "two people talking with mouths tightly shut" one from the 16 Panels that Don't Work Well. Maybe I do need to learn from Wally Wood.)

No, I didn't think of the bedroom activities at all. LOL. Funny misunderstanding.

Glad you liked the link. Your comic is very word-oriented, which fits to you, doesn't it? I'm not following it on a regular base, but once in a while I drop by :) I think it already takes a lot of dedication to make it WEEKLY. Therefore I don't think you're really lazy...

Aw, thanks! I'm glad you like the comic. And yeah, being word-oriented fits me very well.
